Following the resounding success of our inaugural summer camp in 2023, Strive Football Group proudly returned to Switzerland in 2024, bringing the very best in football development to young athletes. This year’s PSG Academy Summer Camps in Vernier were nothing short of exceptional, aligning top-tier coaching talent with the stunning Swiss landscape to create an unforgettable experience.
For two weeks, over 150 young players, aged 7 to 17, honed their football skills under the guidance of some of the most respected names in the sport. We were honored to welcome former PSG professional player Alioune Touré, who brings a wealth of international coaching experience, along with Ousmane Ndiaye, PSG Academy Pro Senegal’s highly regarded physical trainer. Their expertise ensured that every participant not only improved their football abilities but also embraced the core values that define Paris Saint-Germain—discipline, respect, and teamwork.
The camps were designed to cater to players of all levels, reinforcing the fundamentals of the PSG style of play while creating a supportive and fun environment. Each day was filled with a mix of rigorous training sessions, engaging recreational activities, and valuable knowledge sharing. The bonds formed during shared meals, fun icebreakers, and competitive drills were a testament to the camp’s success in fostering both individual growth and team spirit.
A highlight of each week was the culminating tournament, where players showcased their newly acquired skills in front of family and friends. The excitement was palpable as teams put on an entertaining display to win the coveted trophy, a symbol of their hard work and dedication throughout the camp.
As we reflect on the success of the 2024 PSG Academy Summer Camps in Switzerland, we are already looking forward with great anticipation to 2025.
